Am in France where I have a Bosch fridge freezer. Arrived Saturday

Customer Question

Am in France where I have a Bosch fridge freezer. Arrived Saturday and found electric had tripped and a rather smelly appliance with some very nasty contents. Cleaned appliance up but fridge is not getting cold though freezer seems ok. Model is no frost and has a multi air flow panel and switch at the back of the fridge. Cannot hear the normal noise it makes when the door is shut which cuts out when you open the door, is this the fan not working. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

From what you're saying about the freezer being cold but the fridge isn't. And the noise when you open the door etc. I would agree with you that the fan that sucks cold air from the freezer to cool the fridge (this is how a frost free appliance works) is not working. you can check for continuity between the connections on the fan to check it ....... if you need more advise let me know - regards Neil

JACUSTOMER-75xn331b- : Merely confirmed what I thought did not provide a means of resolution.
JACUSTOMER-75xn331b- : Sorry but does not give me a solution.

Apologies - but the obvious solution would be to replace the inoperative fan.
