Before this went off fully has it been playing up like when you turn it on the display took longer to come on?

Or certain cycles never lit up when others did?

no everything was ok until today, worked fine

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

It was on when I was at work, a full cycle completed, and then when I went to put a new load in I realised there was no power

Ok ive seen these washers go off like this quite a lot.

What you need to do is remove the top and from there at the back you will see the mains filter. This is were the power cable enters the washer. If you have a multi meter you need to check to see if theres 240v entering the washer.

If that's fine then you need to remove the front plastic control panel.
From there you will see the main control board on the left and the smaller display board on the right.

Disconnect the wiring harness going from the main board to the display board and then refit it.

Then retry the washer and see how it goes from there. Fingers crossed it may work. But if not then its an electronic fault. Now it can be either of the boards at fault but mostly its been the smaller display board at fault. Im afraid theres nothing to test on either of them but from what ive found in the past its the smaller display board which will need to be replaced to cure this.
