Neff B 4472.0 oven.

The screws that secure the cover to the fan at the back of the oven have /rusted perished and the cover is now loose/not secure. How can this be fixed?
Have you got the old screws out?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Yes they have already fallen out and the fan cover is completely loose.

Thanks for that.

The easiest repair is to fit slightly larger (thicker) screws.
Don't use any that are longer.

Stainless steel self tapping screws are best for this.

Simply screw them into the existing holes and they'll cut new threads themselves.

Hope this helps
