Customer Question

I have a Bosch maxx 9, it's about a year old. It's recently started making a noise that sounds like the drum is catching on something, it's not all the time tho. It'll operate ok then just start making the noise and the drum will struggle to turn.

Thank You for using JustAnswer - My name is Tony and I am more than happy to help with your question today.

With the power off, place your hand inside the front of the drum at the top.
Try lifting the drum, can you feel any lift in the drum?
Roll the drum with your hand, can you feel it rumble when you turn it?
Does it roll freely?
Remove the belt from the back of the drum and try rolling the drum again. Can you feel it rumble?
Let me know what you find.
