brand new Samsung electric fan oven (one of the new ones that you can divide into two internally) when we use either the top only or the whole oven water pools in the bottom and drips through the door when it is opened?
The water has to be in the food.
Are you cooking in open or covered dishes?

Has the oven got good ventilation ?

Mostly open.. roasts and stuff like that..

The oven is a built in one so its in wooden housing with some space behind and the required space on the sides

its at eye level, underneath the microwave

OK, thanks for that.

I'd look at the ventilation first.
The best way to check is to take the oven out of the housing (onto a workmate or table) and cook with it.
See if it improves.

There is a lot of water in a roast (added water is all of them now) so this may be contributing too.

You won't stop the condensation fully as the oven has a good seal on the door, but, with good ventilation you may reduce the amount.

Check the ventilation and let me know what happens.

thanks we will try that, but our roasts come from butcher.. so no added water!

You'd be surprised.
Next time you roast, see how much water is in the roasting pan.

No problem, just post once you've managed to test it out.
Let me know how it goes.

You will receive automated emails though, they aren't from me.
