Hi, I have a BWE40 Wine Cooler and an E2 Error Message. What does this mean please?

E2 error code is a temperature sensor error code.

Now if you have a multimeter you can test this.

Remove the plastic black cover on the back and you will see the control board.

On the board you will see a wiring block on there with 4 thin wires going to it.

Test the 2 wires on the left and the 2 wires on the right with a multi meter. You should get a reading in Kohms and should be the same.

If any are faulty then they will need to be replaced.

But if they are fine then its possibley a faulty control board which will need to be replaced im afraid.

Hi Daniel,

Many thanks. That's clear and I suspect it may be the sensor.

Kind regards,

Hi Brian.

Your very welcome. There isn't much in there. You have the sensors control board and the compressor that all really.

So check them and see what you find.
