Hello I want to renew the hinges on our Electrolux cooker

Customer Question

I want to renew the hinges on our Electrolux cooker model EOD6330XK. Do I have to take the door off to take the old hinges out. I'm not sure where to start. I would be grateful for some advice. Thank you.

Yes, you need to take the door off first.

Fully open the door.
Look at the hinge joint, is there U shaped piece that can be flipped over? (you need a screwdriver to flip it over).

The only thing I could see that might flick over were the black hinge covers and when I tried it broke, so now I have had to order a pair from e-spares at £17.75 a pair.

I then unscrewed the hing covers off, got the door off and has taken me untill now to fathom out how to remove the hinges from the cooker. Not very happy with the unclear advice given.

I didn't give you any advice, I asked a question of you.

From what you've posted now, the answer to my question was "no, there are no flip over U shaped items"

I don't know why you went and broke something instead.
Look closer to home for someone to blame.

I'll opt out of your question and leave you to it.
