Since having a Neff single oven B15P52N3GB installed I found two round grey rubbery. stoppers/cushion pads? approx 10mm dia x 6mm deep with tails with a small knob on the .
end rolling around in the oven
Where do they come from, are they critical for the operation of the oven?

Open the oven door.
Look at sides the door closes onto.
Do you see holes for these or do you see some already fitted?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

There are two holes at top face of oven surround which the door closes against, between oven seal and outer surround.

These 'buttons' seem reluctant to stay in holes. There is a white surface about 6mm behind this hole.

Do I just push in and twist around?

They should have been fitted before the oven was fitted into the unit.
The white surface is edge of the oven housing.

Take the screws holding the oven in place out.
Slide the oven out a little so you fit the stops in place.

You pull them fully into place using the tails.

Once fitted, refit the oven.

It won't affect the operation of the oven if they aren't fitted.

Hope this helps
