i have an hotpoint e7134-e6005 hob and the rear left ring has stayed on an wont turn off using the hob controls it has to be switched off at the mains what will i have to do to rectify this
This will very likely need a new main control board to sort the issue out.

I'm finding the control board for the e7134 to be obsolete but the e6005 is still available.

You'll need to get the correct model number of the appliance from the label on the underside of the hob.

Once you know this, you'll know whether or not it's repairable.

Copy and paste the following into a new browser window.

It's the keyboard control pcb that has likely failed on your machine.

If it has, and given the cost of it, I'd suggest checking with Hotpoint on their latest repair plans.
They all include parts and labour and start from around £115
(If you have the e7134, check if they can repair it first as they will charge the full amount for the visit).

Check it out, see what you find and get back to me if you need more help.

Hope this helps
