rangemasyer cooker tripping when it get to around 190 degrees
If you set it to 175 degrees, does it get to temperature and the indicator light go off and on as it calls for heat?

Is it the RCD in the house fuse box that trips?

No problem.

the cooker gets between 150-200 deg, then trips the main fuse box..

OK, so does it work as it should below 150?

You need to run it for a while to ensure it's not tripping at, say, 140 degrees

The reason for the test is to determine if it's the switching of the thermostat causing the fault, or if it's the element.

The most likely cause is the circular element going down to earth as it heats up.
This is why it only happens when it gets above a certain temperature.
Below the temperature, the insulation reading is high enough not to trip the RCD

If it trips whenever it switches the light on the front off (when it gets to temperature) you need a thermostat too.

A new element should sort the fault out.

Hope this helps
