Have just bought a washer/dryer WDYN-D-80. I find when its on the start of a spin not the final one but in between rinses the drum seems to have a whine. As i say its not on the final spin but then you wouldn't be able to hear it anyway. Just wanted to know if its normal or could there be something wrong, would like to get it fixed sooner rather then later.
Thank you XXXXX

Ok if its a new washer the chances are its just the carbon brushes in the motor bedding in.

As when the motor turn it rubs on the carbon so when new it can make a whinning noise but after a few washes they will have bedded in and the noise will have stopped.

So just monitor and see how it goes but its quite normal on a new washer for it to do this for the first few washes but it should be fine then.
