Welcome, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be helping you with your problem today. If anything isn't clear, please just ask me.

can you explain youyr problem please?
I have read your question, is it that the water does NOT drain when it should?

PS are you able to pull the machine out and gain access to the waste hose?

Hello thanks for helping out.

First off I am not at the site of the machine as it is uin my tenants flat.

I looked at it earlier and saw/did the following:

The door was able to be opened when in the off position

There was somw water in the bottom of the machine.

When I closed the door and switched the dial to drain position the machine did not start the drain cycle, the indicator continued to flash on and off.

I should be able to get at the waste hose, when I return to the property. The machine hasn't been used for quite a few months but it is in good condition.

I am wondering if it just needs to be reset and started

Hi Jon

This sounds like its actually a faulty door lock

The door must lock before the cycle will start.

Try to start any new cycle. Close the door and listen, does it click electrically? Is the door locked or can you reopen it. I think youll be able to open it. In which case you need to replace the lock.

If you need help with the part etc, please get the ENr from the data plate which is in the door recess.

Can I ask you to take a moment and rate my response? Please use the smiley faces which you should now see. Please remember you are rating me personally, not the website or the problems you have had with this machine.
This will not close your question and you can still come back to me if you need more help

The will lock when you turn it to the drain cycle but you can open when you switch to off

Hi Jon

OK, if it locks on a wash cycle , see if it will take in water as well

If it does, try again the drain or spin, check if the door is locked, and let me know what happens
