Can you post the E-Nr number of the appliance please?
It's normally very faintly etched across the top of the inner door.

Can you explain some more on the fault please?
Is it washing all the time?
Is the water inside hot?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

no etching on inner door.however on operating instruction booklet I have found following: SMS 6032 GB. The dishwasher is empty.Last washing was OK it is only when new load was put in I have noticed the needle stuck

on wash.

Is the machine actually washing? or is it doing nothing?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

As I said before, the machine completed cycle OK.When new load was put in it would not engage when I tried to switch it on,and then I noticed the

needle stack on wash.It seems that after switching on it jumped to wash

and stuck.

OK, thanks for that.
I wanted to confirm that the programmer was stuck and the machine wasn't actually stuck washing.

There are 7 variations of the partial E-Nr number you posted.
Do you have a knob on the left side of the facia panel?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

No knob on facia panel i.e.door? except: BOSCH 6032. I hope that that

this information brings you closer to resolving the puzzle.

It's no puzzle, the programmer is at fault.

Unplug the appliance.
Take the facia panel off.
You'll then see, on the left, the mechanical programmer.
Turn the shaft manually until it's reset to off.

Then, try running a program again.

What happens?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

The machine is kaput. It goes through the cycle without pumping water at

a start and then missig rincing cycle goes to drying,so the pump must be

out of commission.Time for the new machine. Thanks for your help.

It was a good lesson for me.

Thanks for letting me know.
It would appear the programmer has failed.

Good luck with the new appliance.
