Good morning,

I have a 3 years old Bosch washing machine,WAE24470GB/08, which is suddenly stuck and displaying F:21. I have cleaned the filter... and now, what do I do? Help please
Your machine is reporting a fault in the motor circuit.
Motor, wiring or main control board can all be at fault.

In case it's spurious, try erasing the stored error codes.

Turn the knob to off.
Close the door.
Turn the knob to 6 o'clock position.
Wait 2 seconds.
The start/pause should begin flashing. (if it doesn't, just continue)
Press and hold the spin button.
Turn the knob to 7 o'clock position.
Wait 2 seconds.
Release the button.
Turn the knob to off.

This should hopefully erase the error code and get you running again.

If the error code returns, you'll need to check the motor, wiring and control board to narrow the fault down.

Try it several times to see if you get it reset.
The machine can store up to 5 codes.

If the start button doesn't flash, just carry on trying to erase the codes.

Hope this helps

Many thanks I have to rush off. I'll try later and report back.

No problem

I have already seen this on the web and I can not do this because:

- when I wait two seconds: F:21 starts flashing

- there is no button to press. It is just a knob to turn

So, what do I try next?

Many thanks

Sorry, I don't know what you've seen or tried unless you say so in your initial post

According to Bosch, and the user manual for the E-Nr you posted, you do have a spin button. It's marked rpm and is the bottom button to the right of the screen

You are absolutely right. I am an idiot! A French one actually!

Many thanks; it works.

You're not an idiot, It's Bosch, they call it a spin button and mark it RPM. Now that's been designed by a man. LOL.

Glad you got it going.

Good luck with the appliance.
