I am replacing thermostat on B1432N2GB/05 oven. How can I take

Customer Question

I am replacing thermostat on B1432N2GB/05 oven. How can I take of the plastic plate holding control knob to access the screws that hold the thermostat control. Also got the proper part from Espares but it only has two connector lugs. The original has three. I am guessing that one is the earth.

Hi sometimes there are replacement parts that are a bit different.
But can you see the wires? Have you opened it up this far yet?
But its always possible the part is too different to really work.
Also please let me know, are you saying it looks like there is a plate in the way of where the screws are that hold the switch in place?
Thank you
