Customer: I'm trying to see model but not sure where that is. It's my mums machine.

Customer: Instruction manual doesn't tell me
Customer: is that the E-nr?

KevinWhiteJA : You can reset the control by pressing and holding the START/PAUSE button for around 20 seconds to see if the error disappears
Customer: I'll give that a go
KevinWhiteJA : E01 error is a door lock error
Customer: i know
Customer: door seems fine
KevinWhiteJA : however, it is not always due the bad door lock
KevinWhiteJA : you can also check the drain pump filter located inside the bottom front of the unit
Customer: it sounds like it's trying to drain
KevinWhiteJA : if the problem returns after cleaning this then you will have to use warranty and get the door lock checked
KevinWhiteJA : Yes something might be stuck in there
Customer: how do I get to drain pump filter?

Customer: Ok got that
looking at the age of your washer the door lock should be fine
I think cleaning the filter should solve the problem
Customer: Nothing blocking the filter. It's fine. Now I've drained out the bit of water it doesn't sound like it's trying to drain any more but we still gave E-01
ok, what about the door ?
Customer: It is giving the same error whether I try a wash cycle or dry cycle
Customer: door seems OK but I can only open it using the emergency release
Customer: pressing the start/pause button for 20 secs doesn't clear the error
ok the problem is either with the door lock or control itself
as it is still under warranty so you can use it and get the interlock mechanism replaced
Customer: Thought it might be something simple I could fix but seems not. Thanks for trying,
We already tried the simple things...unfortunately that is what the error code indicates ... sorry about the bad news
