Customer Question

We have a Neff 1031-1D oven. A few weeks ago the fan oven was not heating up which I understand is an element fault. The standard oven and grill continued to work. However, over the past few weeks whenever we use the grill or standard oven, we get a rapid clicking noise once the oven/grill has heated up a touch. Any ideas?

Can you post the E-Nr number of the appliance please?
It should be on a label in the door recess.

Where is the clicking noise from?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

The clicking noise is coming from the very top of the oven

Thanks for that.

You'll need to take the machine out and remove the top to narrow it down.

The only item I see is the cooling fan and it may be this that is causing the clicking.

Isolate the power, take the machine out and take the top off.
Restore the power, set the clock and set the oven going.

When it warms up, it brings in the cooling fan, watch to see if this fan is the cause of the clicking.

let me know what you find.
