How do i remove a stuck filter on a siemens xlm 1400 with a closed base?

Ok as this has the covered base then you need to remove the front panel of the washer.


Remove the plastic trim on the front at the bottom and look at the bottom of the front panel and you will see 2 or 3 screws. Remove these.

Then open the door and remove the metal clamp from around the door seal and unlip the door seal.


Now remove the screws holding the door lock on if they have any. If not you need to remove the wiring block from there.


Now pull out the soap drawer and look in the bottom right corner and you will see a screw there. Completely remove this screw.


Now you can push the front panel down and then lift it away.


Now from there you can access the drain pump from there so remove the black hose and you can access the blockage from there.
