I have a 12 place bosch dishwasher. it is not filling up with water and makes a funny noice

and how old is it ?

Its an intergrated dishwasher the numbers on the side is sgv53e13gb there are others if that is correct

3 years old

ok and where does the noise come from ?

Customer:

I think its in the botton area inside. Just like its on the drying cycle

have you already tried to clean the water inlet valve and the inlet hose ?

Customer:

Yes

KevinWhiteJA :

so the lights come on but it wont fill and so will not proceed to next cycle ?

Customer:

yes thats correct

ok...can you pull the dishwasher out and lay it on its side by around 45 degrees

KevinWhiteJA :

if water comes out then try a cycle again

KevinWhiteJA :

the problem seems to be with the water inlet valve that is bad and will need replacement

Customer:

no sorry too heavy and just had disc removed!!

oh ok...then its better to get the water inlet valve replaced
