Appliance Repair Questions? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hi and thank you for using Just Answer
Ok, The symptoms you describe would suggest that there has been a leak into the base of the appliance.
Unplug the appliance, then Tilt the machine to a 45 degree angle, You might want to place some towels on the floor in front to catch any water. Place machine back on all fours, set into place and plug it back in. Reset the cycle and you should be back in business. On an off chance this doesn't work, take it out and take the side panels off. Use a sponge to remove any water in the base. Once the red lever on the left resets, start a new program and watch the filling of the appliance.
You will need to locate the source of the leak and cure that to get the appliance working again. If you have any other questions, please ask. I'm going to move this to Q&A so we can have more time to work on this problem if we need to. Even though it may say our conversation is done, it's not. Just follow the directions, type your question and I will see it and reply according. I wish you the best.
sorry to take so long. Been out all day. Did as instructed but "check water"comes on during fill after about 45 secs. The "O" ring seemed loose behind the drain impeller, but I reseated it to no avail. Not sure about the red lever on the left. Didn'reset anything. Did I miss so
Yes. I think it was from the drain motor impeller as the O ring didn't seem to be located right.
The 'O' ring I reseated and although the check water light comes on, it goes off again and seems to be working fine now. No leaks either. Many thanks.
