my whirlpool cooker started ticking yesterday. Partner played

my whirlpool cooker started ticking yesterday. Partner played with timer and it stopped but cooker won't turn on today?

Thanks Dawn, these timers will fail and unfortunately this went kaput.
Its easy enough to replace and I will help you with this all the way through.
The best place to get a new one (and your lucky) the electronic clock much more expensive lol.
I would use Espares, they are very reliable and ship the same day in most cases, when you have the part I will help with the replacement.
I will stick with you until this is fixed and working as it should.

Hi Michael sorry what exactly am I going to be asking them for? Just a new timer for this sort of cooker? thanks Dawn (worried they'll get all technical on me) there anyway to override timer? I never use it anyway

Hi Dawn, no its easy thee as well,
All they will need for m you is the model #, and then tell them you want the mechanical oven timer.

Hi Michael, sorry meant to contact you earlier. The cooker was magically working the next day, however I did try contacting espares, just in case and didn't find them very helpful. They wanted a service number, which I couldn't find. They did suggest a timer, gave me their order number for it and told me to check it out myself as they wouldn't be responsible if the part wasn't right!! I did look on line but I couldn't easily tell whether it was the right part. Thanks so much for your help, if it goes again I'll have to call somebody out.

Thanks Dawn, yes they would need the model # to locate the correct part, but sometimes its difficult to find on the unit. It is usually in the door jab or on the chassis in that area. I will be here if you need me further have a great Sunday Dawn!

Hi Michael yes I found a strip on door jam of oven but they didn't want any info off that, they wanted the service number- which I haven't got.

I have used Espares for years so I'm not sure whats going on there;-)
Usually all they need is the full model #.
