This could be a defrost issue. When the unit gets frosted inside on the coils it will do this.
But it could mis aligned doors as well or a bad door gasket please check these things and let me know if you find anything a miss.
Thank you for your patience!

Think it may be a defrost issue as it is freezing up inside?

What do l need to do.

How do l check the coils?

Thanks Liz, the first thing to do, is completely defrost the unit 24 hours doors open.
Then remove any standing water inside.
Next turn it back on and let it run as there may nor be anything wrong with this unit, eve frost free units can have this happen over time.
Let it run for about a week, then let me know if this happens again in that period of time. Int Great!
But if it does just contact me the same way. I f you rate my service to you at this point, I an be sure to be here when and if you need me again and then we would tackle this issue further, you will need a meter for that and some basic hand tools is all. I have been a refrigeration tech for over 30 years;-)
Thank you Liz and have a great day!
