after removing the 3 freezer trays to try and check the back panel I found no ice but now the trays don't fit properly at all.

Are you able to send me over some pictures as its hard to visalise what is stopping the draws going back and how far they can go in.

My suggestion as you have already mentioned you have alot of food defrosting is to remove the trays, defrost them under the tap and then dry them, do one at a time to limit damage to your food.

Also check for a build up of ice in the groves where the trays sit, you will probably find this is causing them to be stiff, as you shouldnt need to froce them, regardless of how old the freezer is.

Idelly the answer is to do a full defrost and would arrange this as soon as your running low on frozen foods.

If after defrosting the trays they have frost up again, I would call back the engineer who did the service as this should be something the engineer should have picked up as 90% of the time it is either the freezer is not cold enough or the seal is not making a good contact around the door, and since its a new seal it suggests this may not have been properly installed, or the door adjusted to ensure a good fit.
