Hi, just so I know I am looking at the right unit, your model is TVD2 not a VTD2? Have you tried putting it on the rinse program, or do you get the same fault regardless?Are there any error codes showing on the display?To be clear though the machine stopped mid cycle the door still freely unlocked, even with water in the unit?There are a range of potential faults, from the waste pipe or filter being blocked preventing water from draining, through to a pump fault.To remedy this (assuming the machine wont drain down) I would first look to rest the unit by holding down the start/stop button for 10 seconds, then with your other hand turn the dial to OFF while keep pressing the start/stop button, after a first 5 seconds release the button and turn the dial to drain again, and see if the machine still refuses to drain down.
