JamesInch :

Hi what camera are you using, it sounds like the memory card is either missing (and its using the internal memory to store the photos) or the memory card is write protected.

JamesInch :

Can you confirm if the memory card is present

Where is it on the Camera ?

JamesInch :

Hi, sorry about the delay.

In order for me to give you instructions I need to know the make and model of the camera, most cameras have the memory card located in the compartment where the battery is held.

I've located the Memory Card - it is in the Battery Compartment. Maybe a new Momory Card will fix it

When you remove the memory card, you should see a small tag on it which on the back on the memory card should say "protected"

This is a write protection, abit like the old style function on floppy disks.

If this isnt the issue, then most likely a new SD card should fix your problem, you can pick them up on ebay for next to nothing.

Let me know how you get on.
