This is a common problem. The defrost drain is clogged. When refrigerators go into automatic defrost the frost on the coils melts and is directed down a drain tube located below the coils in the freezer behind the back wall inside. the drain is frozen. there are two ways to fix this, 1 unplug the refrigerator for 24 hours and leave the freezer open. (you would need to put your food someplace though) and 2 open the freezer remove the food and the shelves and container, then remove the back panel inside the freezer, boil water and pour it over the ice under the silver coils until all the ice melts and the water drains freely again. This method is faster .
