On an aga oil four oven type 2003 model the burner keeps heating up and gets very hot. It has a thermostat with a white dial this does not appear to work. is this the problen or is there anything else that it could be. than you peter

Hi . if its getting too hot then you hit it on the head ,replace the stat

Would you like me show a link of a spares site?. Overheating will be caused by faulty stat .as you said that it seems not to be working . if you turn the stat low does this turn the burner down /off?


no it does not effect the heat output at all. the thermostat clicks below no 1 this never varies. list of spares please. thank you. peter
