my washing machine is an Indesit modelWIE 137S. It comes up on the display F-08.can you help me?
Error code F08 means that the heater relay cannot be activated.
Check the connections to the Pressure switch, the Module, and the Heater element.
If you can, test the element of the heater to make sure it is o/k.
If the heater is ok, then then control PCB needs to be replaced.
I would change the heater first as it is cheaper.
Both parts can be obtained from Espares.
I will help you make the repair;-)
You will only need a few basic hand tools as well.

Hi Michael, sorry that I have taken so long to rate your answer, but can you give me some further information to how I can check the operation of the Pressure switch and the Heater element.

Thanks, Peter.

Hi Peter,
thanks for your response.
In all my years as a Tech, its almost always the main control board at fault.
I wouldn't worry about the heater as they almost never fail.
I would however replace the water pressure switch along with the main board as its easy and not too expensive and they do fail occasionally.
I will help you with all of this and its really an easy task you change out those parts.
Please rate kindly at this point so I can stick with you;-)
Have a nice Sunday Peter.
