Hi . does it go hotvthen cold or is it a constant temperature?
IT GRADUALY GETS HOTTER BUT ONLY REACHES 60 DEGREES ON THE TEMPRECHORE NEONS
Ok . does the heating work ok?
Ok .well all the boiler components seem to be working so the only thing it can be is the hot water temperature sensor( thermistor) . luckily its not an expensive part
IF THE CENTRAL HEATING IS SWITCHED ON THE DHW GETS HOT THAT IS WHY I CHANGED THE DHW DIAPHRAGM AS IWAS TOLD THIS COULD BE THE PROBLEM BUT IT DID NOT SOLVE IT I WOULD LIKE YOUR COMMENTS ON THIS
Well the diaphragm only operates the hot water flow switch when a hot water tap is opened and the water is running through the boiler. If the boiler wasn't firing when hot tap opened that would have been a reason to change the diaphragm .
The hot water being hotter with heating on shows there is a problem with the temperature sensor.
WHY DOES THE DHW GET HOT WHEN THE CENTRAL HEATING IS ON I THOUGHT THE DIAPHRAGM DIVERTED THE WATER FROM THE HEAT EXCHANGER
The diaphragm does not divert anything it is just a rubber washer that moves out a pin to switch on the boiler for hot water. The thing that diverts from heating to the domestic hot water heat exchanger is the diverter valve
COULD THE DIVERTER VALVE BE A PROBLEM THEN AS WELL
Well you would tell that by , running the hot water and the radiators would get hot .
O K I WILL TRY THIS IF THE RADS GET HOT WHEN THE DHW IS RUNNING WILL THAT CONFIRM THE DIVERTOR IS AT FAULT AS WELL
OK IWILL TRY TEMP SENDER FIRST THANKS FOR YOUR HELP
Your welcome. Can I make a suggestion . change the heating temp sensor at the same time
