How do you change the grill element in a double oven
Welcome, my name is ***** ***** I will be helping you with your problem today. If anything isn't clear, please just ask me.
This will depend on the model number, do you have it ?
Is this a built in double oven?
What happens when you undo the bolts?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Hi Rob

The model number is ***** it is a built in double oven the top oven doubles as a grill and it was the element in the top that I want to change how ever what I thought were bolts are just flat and round. From the new one I got it looks like the bolt from the rear. Dave

Hi Dave

There are different elements that have been fitted to this over the years.
Unfortunately yours are from the back !!
Turn off the power
Get a table in front of the oven
Get a friend to pull it out with you onto the table. They are heavy AND awkward

Take of the back panle, youll see the grill element
Note the wiring and take some pictures!!

Undo bolts and remove from inside.
Refit the element and wiring
Job done !!
