I've got an indesit washer dryer machine, model iwdd7143 and it starts the cycle but then the red lock button flashes off, f9 flashes up on the screen and it doesn't carry on. Any tips?

Customer: I'm not sure, maybe no more than 2 years (it belongs to landlord)

OK, F9 is the Setup error usually caused due to a bad control

have you already tried to leave it unplugged for few minutes ?

Customer: Yep, but maybe not long enough...should I just try longer and then if not, call out an engineer?

You can unplug it for 2-3 minutes...then plug it back and simultaneously press and hold the START button
