When I switch my Dishwasher on the start light just keeps flickering, what can I do to repair this problem?
I am Tech Michael, I am sorry to hear that.
Please be patient as these are technical issues and I want to guide you the best way possible to save you money and time;-)
Please remember these are technical issues and may require some back and forth conversation to sort this out.
May I have the full model #?
Also how old is your dishwasher?
One final question, please explain the flickering, is it random or steady pulse?
Thank you

Julia, thanks which light is flashing?
Also did the dishwasher fail during use? Or just was flashing when you tried to use it one day new wash?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

It is the start light that is flashing, the first time it happened was when the dishwasher was in use and it kept flashing all the time the wash was going and then next time I went to use it, it started flashing straight away when I switched it on so I have not used it since.

Thanks Julia,
I need you to perform a test .
Turn power to the dishwasher off at the mains. The wait 30 full minutes , next turn the power back on at the mains and try a cycle, please let me know if you still have the issue or it has gone away?
Thank you

My dishwasher has been switched off at the mains days as I have not used it since it went wrong, I have now gone and have done what you said, the light is still flashing but the machine is just not working now and it is not even doing a cycle.

Thanks Julia, this is a sign of a failed control board. Its easy to replace with a few basic hand tools if you are a bit handy.
I will assist you with this.
The part is not cheap but it will solve the problem.
The best place part price wise and reliability is the site listed below. But its best to call them part order so I have included their phone contact info as well;-)

I got in touch with the people that you recommended to me and had to wait for them to get back to me, they had the part that you said that I needed and they gave me a price of £130 that did not include postage, so I went out yesterday and found a new dishwasher priced at £159 so I have bought that as it was cheaper than what the other place gave me once I worked out the cost of the part, the postage and what I would have to pay to get it fitted. Thank you very much for all your help I really appreciated it.
