Customer Question

I had a Drayton LP 522 controller with this problem. During night when controller was set to off boiler and pump were found to be on no lights on controller although time still correct. Could not switch off heating even with thermostat.
By depowering and leaving a few minutes system was OK.
As a result changed the programmer new Drayton LP722 and all was fine few days.
Last night at 03.00 the heating was again on when programmed to be off. Only way to restore was to depower again.
Your help would be much appreciated.

. I wonder if your system has a frost setting , this would turn the boiler on if temperature drops below 4 degrees. Could be part of the boiler safety controls

JACUSTOMER-usu14qam- :

The temperature in the house and boiler never dropped below 20deg when the problem occured.

Did I know that?
