My Bosch Classixx dishwasher will not fill withwater. It is about six years old. Thank you for your help
What actually happens when you start it going?
Will the pump run for a few seconds then stop?
Once its stopped do you hear any noises at all from it?

The pump runs and the draining sound carries on until I turn the machine off

Ok what you will find is the flood switch in the base has been activated. Water will have leaked in there and has activated the flood switch which stops it from filling and keeps the pump running all the time.
What you need to do is pull the dishwasher out and lie it on its back for a few minutes as this will allow the water to drain from the base so you may need a towel for that part.
Then stand it upright and the flood switch should have reset itself so retry the dishwasher and see how it goes from there. Fingers crossed that's sorted it.
But if it happens again then theres a leak in there which you need to find and fix to cure the fault.
Let me know how it goes or if you need anymore info just get back to me.
