Hi Daniel, I hope you are well. My kitchen has a dedicated 45 amp circuit for a cooker. I'd like to ask if is safe and viable to wire a 13 amp/2.3kw single oven to this circuit please? Lynn
Hi Lynn im very well thank you, ***** ***** are too.
If the oven you have is a 2.3Kw oven then that drawers about 9.6 amps so you can actually run it off a 13 amp plug top plugged into the socket.
But as you have the cooker spur already in you kitchen then you can wire it directly into there as that's not a problem.
So on this you have both choices so its up to yourself which one you go with as both will be just fine.
