How can I clean the blade unit of my Kenwood FP691 multi-pro food processor?
Welcome, my name is ***** ***** I will be helping you with your problem today. If anything isn't clear, please just ask me.

Is this the part you mean?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Hi, Rob, No. The part I'm struggling with is part of the liquidising function. It's a flattish disc about 2 inches wide. Inside it are the blades. On the underside are two little red 'things'. Can't work out what they do. On the diagram that came with the appliance it is 'part 15 blade unit'. Food gunge has gathered and dried under the blades and where the blade mounting joins the ring. Are these bits meant to come apart for cleaning?

So, its this part?

The two red tabs are locating indeces. These ar ther so that the machine wont start untill the goblet and base are secure

Unfortunately the design is such that this part does not come apart, further than the picture.
To clean under the blades, use a brush, as the blades are very sharp and will cut your hand

If you need more help, please just ask
