Bosch ksv24323gb02
Fridge light U/S. Bulb burnt out but prob not rectified by serviceable replacement.
Door switch does not appear to be sticking. Removed switch discovered no power to it.
Appliance appears to be functioning correctly in all other respects.
Suspect problem with control/bulb holder unit but cannot see how to remove/check.
Where to go from here please?
Hi and thank you for choosing Just Answer.
I am Tech Michael and I will be assisting you today.
Please be patient as these are technical questions that may require a bit of conversation to solve.
I'm a bit confused, have you tested to see if there is power at the switch and the bulbs socket? You can do that with a simple test light available from most any local hardware store;-)
Please let me know, also just because the door switch doesn't stick, doesn't mean the switch is good.
Usually its a bad bulb is all or even the switch.
Thank you

As mentioned earlier, I have replaced the bulb with 2 proven serviceable bulbs neither illuminates. I have checked the door switch and it does not appear to be sticking, moreover, I have managed to pull the switch from the internal fridge body to reveal the connectors I have checked the 2 connectors with a neon and with an avo neither appear to be live. I can see no obvious way to get behind the main control switch/light housing to check for continuity there.
Hi sorry for all the questions but if something isn't mentioned clearly I need to make sure before going further;-)
This unfortunately is a problem with the main control board. Its expensive but it controls the power to everything in that model. They don't make parts for the board, nor is there any way to check that as they use special jigs for that at the factory and don't make schematics etc available for that;-(
You have done the right things and checked all you can to verify that the problem is in fact the board. I wish I had better news for you I really do.
If you would like to replace the main control board, its easy and no soldering involved;-)
The best place to order that would be
I would call them for this part as they do not list the all part and prices may not be current.
Here is their phone #: 0844(###) ###-####
Or you can try, Espares: 0844 9777 888, they are also very good, reliable and have good prices.
I will stick with you until the unit is fixed properly.
But please rate my service thus far to you before closing this page.
It won't cost you anything to further to rate and I will be with you at no additional cost;-)
Thank you

TY for this, can you tell me where the control board is and how I replace it?
Hi sure, the board is either located on the back of the fridge under a covers access, or inside the lower access panel near the compressor also on the back of the fridge, behind it.
Please rate kindly at this time and have a great day I wll be here if you need me;-)
