Customer Question

Hi I have a beko tumble dryer DCU8230. it has started to short and luckily \i have circuit breakers that have prevented a potentially serious problem. I have just read about their recall albeit not this particular model. I will be phoning them tomorrow as this seems a potentially serious risk...

George-Allsorts :

Hello, my name is George.. There are many things that can cause the tumble dryer to trip the circuit breakers... The main cause is when fluff blocks the channel at the rear of the condenser that leads to the pump; this causes a build-up of water that then gets flicked-up onto the heater by the motor fan... This then trips the electricity due to the heater element earthing out.

Kindly be patient whilst awaiting any responses from me as I'm not constantly available.
