Hi Ian

Thanks for the Handbook

It was an amazing machine in its day!

Still no joy getting it going.

I am pressing the right switch.

Do you think the motor is knackered. The headlight is not coming on either, ( Could be the bulb)

if so what is the chance of a replacement and coud I do it at home?

Hi Philip, Can you leave it with me I think we have one of these in the workshop that has been there for years. I will have a look tomorrow, hopefully it hasn't been thrown out. Are you handy with a screwdriver/tools and have access to a multimeter?

Headlight is likely just the bulb but equally could be the on/off switch ~ Ian

That would be brilliant

OK I will catch up with you later, I have further information for you will recount when I get back from work ~ Ian

Is there any news?

I have a multimeter on the way and a screwdriver.

Lets have a go!

OK give me a shout when you have the multimeter and I'll dig the old Kirby out of the closet ~ Ian
