Aqualtis AQ113D 697S model 76680M
Our machine has stopped working the front panel doesn’t light up
Fuse ok
It has power to the control panel PCP but doesn’t work
Can you help?
Hello, my name is George..

The appliance is controlled by another control module that is at the rear of the appliance on the left just inside the rear access panel... Check that module for broken chips and/or capacitors with domed tops... Also check the brushes have enough length if it has a brushed motor

Kindly be patient whilst awaiting any responses from me as I'm not constantly available.

Removed the control module all wires connected power to the module

Checked the capacitors for leeks/domed caps no sign of discoloration on the pcb

Do you know the part number for a replacement module?

Hi Gary, I will get you the replacement part number momentarily, but first, can you tell me if it has a brushed motor?
There are two different cards for this appliance.. the correct one will depend on the serial number... You can contact Hotpoint on #0843-636-2617 and they can tell you which one is in your appliance

Would the module stop the front panel from powering up? its got power to the door pcb? The motor is the long life unit It doesn't have carbon brushes

I'm going to order a C00286073 Hotpoint web say's it fits my model

Gary, it could be either of the two modules causing the problem..

The fascia module gets its power from the main module at the back, but so does the door lock..

there is a company called EMW Electronics that can test the modules for you and tell you which one is at fault and sometimes repair the fault on the faulty module:
