We have a Zanussi ZCG63330XA gas cooker. The ignition

This answer was rated:

We have a Zanussi ZCG63330XA gas cooker.
The ignition system sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.
Often if we turn off the electric supply, turn it back on and reset the clock, it starts working again, but not always.
Sometimes we have to repeat this procedure several times before the ignition button works again. Also, sometimes when the oven is on and already lit, the ignition clicks away repeatedly as if it was trying to light the oven still, about a click per second.
What part is needed to be replaced and how much does it cost. We don't want to have to buy a new cooker.
Many thanks
Hello Jackie, my name is George..

The part you need is the Spark generator part number 5612313022.

You can buy it from AEG who are part of the Electrolux Group and who own the brandname of Zanussi. Cost is about £33.50.
