Bosch "Exxcel" Freestanding Frost Fee Freezer, model number

Customer Question

Bosch "Exxcel" Freestanding Frost Fee Freezer, model number GSN28V01GB:
This freezer, purchased June 2010 has suddenly started to malfunction about a week ago.
Set at minus 18 degrees Celsius, the alarm keeps sounding and the green "set temperature" light keeps flashing. Although the contents appear still to be frozen, (and the compressor "hum" still present), the only way to suppress the alarm from constantly restarting to "beep" is to leave the freezer set constantly to "super freeze"
Please advise
Thank you

Hello, my name is George..

Can you give me the last two digits of the Enr please..

Can you check the temperature of the compressor at the rear of the appliance (Cool, warm, hot, very hot)?

Can you hear the fan rotating on the interior of the cabinet?

Kindly be patient whilst awaiting any responses from me as I'm not constantly available.
