This answer was rated:

Hi, we have bought a bosch oven thinking that it would have a plug on it and could be plugged into a 13 amp socket in the ring main. However, it doesn't have a plug or electric lead. We are putting in new kitchen cabinets. We have an existing cooker switch/socket which will be used for an electric hob. Do we need to install a second cooker switch for the oven or can it be connected to the ring main? We are only concerned with routing the correct cables and will get an electrician to connect the appliances.
The oven is an HBN331.2B model; oven type HITFOB. 2.35Kw.
Hi . the ring main will only take loads of upto 3kw. Your oven if over this ( most likely) will need a separate circuit put in by an electrician with a circuit breaker
