This answer was rated:

The igniter on the left-front burner of my NEFF gas hob is firing continuously and when I light it the (week) flame goes out as soon as I let go of the switch, but the igniter keeps flashing to earth.
Hello, my name is George..

Can you tell me the Enr and FD of the hob please... The information will be on a label underneath the hob, or on the front/rear of the booklet for the appliance

Kindly be patient whilst awaiting any responses from me as I'm not constantly available.

Hi Peter, B1451N2GB/01 is an oven not a hob... are you sure you have the correct booklet there?

Yes that is a hob Peter, thank you for getting that...

Are you absolutely sure that only one of the igniters are firing... Not all?

The reason I ask is that I do not want to tell you to get the wrong part... It is a different part if all are sparking than it is if just one is sparking..

Please confirm which it is for me.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Just the left front one keeps sparking, the 3 others all work normally.

Ok Peter, thank you for confirming that...

The part you need is the Ignition Transformer part number 00187502 and can be purchased from the following link

Is there anything else you need Peter?
Peter, looking at your issue a second time, I am of the opinion you may also need a thermocouple for that ring inparticular and the flame is distinguishing when you let go of the knob.
