Maytag 9kg Washing Machine
MWA 09149 WH/1 showing Error code F08 and a red spanner symbol, what does this mean please.

Hi F08 error code is a heater problem. What you need to do is pull the washer out and remove the back panel. There you will see the heater in the back of the drum towards the bottom. Check the wires are still attached on there. If the wires are fine then you need a multi meter to test this. Check the resistance of the heater and see if faulty. It should read about 28 Ohms. If faulty then it will need to be replaced. But if the heater and wiring is fine then im afraid its looking like the control board is the fault here. But check the heater and see what you find.
