Hotpoint CRA641DC has stopped working. Power is getting to the unit.

Are any lights comming on the front at all when you switch it on?

Customer: replied 2 years ago.
No there no lights coming on.

Ok if theres nothing comming on but the power supply is fine then what you need to do is remove the hob from the unit and turn it over.
From there remove the cover were the power cable goes and check the wiring conections. If this as burnt out and melted then it will need to be replaced as the mains connection can burn on these.

If thats all ok then you need to remove the glass top and from there you will see the main power board, Check this for any signs of burning as if the mains connection is fine then the power board will be the issue as thats the only 2 things that can cause this is the supply is ok.

As in these theres only the 4 elements, the power board and the mains connections. So the elements wont cause this fault so it has to be either the power board or mains connection box.
