I have a New World New Home cooker, model number 600TSIDLMSI.
When I ignite a hob burner and - after having held it in for longer than 15 seconds - I release the nob, the flame goes out.
Can you help please?
Thanks, CW
Hello CW, my name is George..

The problem with your hob is the thermocouple has failed or is in need of attention..

If you get me the model code from the underneath of the hob I can tell you if the part is still available and if it is an easy fix.

Kindly be patient whilst awaiting any responses from me as I'm not constantly available.

Hi George,

Thanks for your reply. The only other numbers other than the one in the question are:###-##-####and 00808911.

Hi Chris,

The long thermocouples are still available and you can purchase one from the following link
Stoves Thermocouple LongThere is one for each of the four rings...

You should get a Gas Safe engineer to replace this for you, as the lid that operates the thermocouple switches has to be removed in order to fit the part.
