Hello, my name is George..
So, you have set the timer to manual, and the fan is rotating in the oven.. You have also set the thermostat.. Can you confirm this?
Kindly be patient whilst awaiting any responses from me as I'm not constantly available.

The timer is set and the fan is working the thermostat is also working as if use the main oven option to heat the top and bottom this works and heats correctly, it is only when I want the option of fan oven only it is blowing cold air. The heating element that I purchased was a capel part.

I have no wiring diagram available for this appliance, but, I would hazard to ask you what happened to cause you to change the element in the first place?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Because was not blowing hot air and seeing as everything else is in working order and as per recommendations from google, internet and company I purchased the part from

It would depend on the wiring...
I would say that your problem is either:
1. a failure to connect on one of the fingers of the selector switch. This would allow all other features to work whilst preventing the feature linked to that finger of the selector switch.
2. the neutral cable from the fan element is not connected at the terminal block..
This is unlikely, as the fan is usually routed through the fan element and therefore would prevent the fan working.
3. the fan element you purchased is faulty.
Check the continuity of the element
4. one of the wires are not connected to the element.
Try those... Hopefully one of them will have a solution for you.. If not, come back to me and let me know what you find.
