I have a Candy PVI 640 C induction hob which is showing error

I have a Candy PVI 640 C induction hob which is showing error code E1 abnormal power supply. I have just checked the mains voltage at 249 volts just inside the permitted maximum. what should I do? If I turn on the electric oven this drops the voltage enough to allow it to work
Not sure if you have tried this but remove the hob and disconnect the mains wiring from the hob completey and leave it disconnected for 30 mins.
This will allow the electroincs to fully discharge themselves.
Then rewire it back up again and turn it on and see how i goes from there. As sometimes a change in voltage can cause the error code and it needs to be disconnected completey from the wiring mains to clear it.
Try that and see what happens and let me know.
