Creeda TCR3 tripping RCD when timer is twisted

Creeda TCR3 tripping RCD when timer is twisted
When you get these dryers tripping out 9 times out of 1o its the dryer heater at the back that causes this.
What you need to do is remove the buldge cover on the back of the dryer and if when you remove this water comes out from there that that's whats caused it.
What you can try is get a hairdryer and dry the heater out as this can sometimes work and stop the tripping.
But if theres no water in there then remove the right hand side panel and there you will see the wiring plug for the heater at the back. Disconnect this and try the dryer and see if it stops the tripping. If it does then you know its the heater and that will need to be replaced to cure this here.

Thanks for reply, so just setting the Timer will cause a trip ?
That is before switching on at all ?
When you turn the timer this turns the dryer on so it brings the heater and motor into circuit so that will be why its doing when you turn the timer as that brings the heater into circuit.
